Special Events
The
nursery will offer tours and English garden teas for groups and garden
clubs of fifteen or more this summer. These programs
are design to educate and showcase the historic beauty of the farm and
nursery. The house is a two hundred year-old federal colonial that border
along the old Erie Canal. Our front lawn is over three acres with many
display
gardens to enjoy making this the perfect setting for a cup of tea and
garden program. I custom tailor my presentation to a variety of topics
on perennial gardening. Our teas are always formal with fine linen and
table arrangements by Mary Ryan (my garden helper for many years plus
a very talented garden floral arranger). The cost of this program is
eight dollars be person for the tea and desert. Call or e-mail for all
details or to schedule a time.
